AAP and Criminalization of Politics

Decriminalization of Politics

There is a big issue of criminalization of politics.

Decriminalization of politics is required. It can be only done by effective judiciary which unfortunately is very highly in-efficient. The implementation of recently Supreme Court guideline about setting a deadline for 1 year for cases will go long way.

Another point is, just because something is very wrong in the system doesn't mean party like AAP will solve the issue. Look at the kind of candidate they have chosen, After taking high moral ground, even in first election they have fielded the criminals - How come attorney bharati is not a criminal. How come Narendra Mohanty is not criminal (28 cases), National average is 19% candidate and AAP has 15% criminal candidates. In delhi election they have minimal people with criminal track, one limited SUCCESS in delhi has changed AAP so much. Even though I agree with problem , AAP is definitely is not a solution.
New Dictionary of AAP -
Communal means Selfish
Being Communal is a virtue.

Shazia Ilmi says

“Don’t be much secular. Muslims are too secular and they should become communal. They are not communal and do not vote for themselves. Arvind Kejriwal is ours. Muslims have remained secular for long....have voted for the Congress and helped them win. Don’t be so secular and look at your house (community) this time. Other parties have their votebank intact and Muslim votes split. This is a controversial statement, but we should look at our own interest,”

Aravind Kejariwal's interpretation:

“As per the Election Commission, the communal word is defined as somebody trying to instigate hatred among two communities. If there was any indication of Shazia doing that, she would have been ousted from the party. Her use of words was not proper. We condemn that. She wanted to say that you people (Muslims) become selfish for education and future of your children. We disapprove of the use of words by her,”
